IT Infrastructure Supervisor (01 Position)
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains all aspects of server administration to include but is not limited to VMware (Esxi, Vsphere, Vcenter), Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, File server, DHCP, Exchange server, Print server, FortiGate firewall, Aruba switch, HPE servers.
- Installs and supports server, desktop technologies and network devices for all centralized divisions (including but not limited to operating system maintenance, application maintenance, image archive, disaster recovery etc…)
- Manage the server environments on a daily basis, identifying potential performance issues and resolving them before they have a negative impact on the end-users
- Develop and maintain the security of all System and Network
- Adequately train a backup administrator
- Train the IT Tech Support II personnel to respond to common systems issues
- Provide industry standard system administration practices to all servers to ensure servers provide the highest level of availability and performance possible at all times
- Participates, as needed, in division technical implementation projects
- Develops and maintains procedures for equipment installation and configuration support
- Coordinates sharing of best practices and policies and procedures
- Interfaces directly with a wide variety of end users and technical counterparts in other division, facility, and group
- Adheres to and supports CMED group and all its division standards, policies and procedures
- Maintains and protect confidentiality of all CMED group and its divisions information
- Must be able to work flexible work hours including nights and weekends in urgent cases.
Qualification & Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 10+ years of hands-on technical experience
- 1 or more of the following certifications is highly desirable: MCSE, MCSA, NSE4
- Technical certifications – highly desirable: Cisco, Microsoft, and advanced training in network and security standards, equipment, and protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Impeccable communication skills, written and verbal, for use with internal and outside communication as well as project documentation and timed troubleshoot record entries
- Possesses superior analytical and design capabilities
- Strong statistical and analytical tools for system monitoring
